Underground Science led Hijacker onto more experimental work in the studio spanning across four sub-labels under the Plink Plonk moniker.XP-88 the theme is primarily Detroit style techno, along with a fusion of electronica and broken beat.

XP-88 is the name of a control drug use covertly as mind control drugs developed by Albert Hoffman's unit at Sandoz labs under the CIA for enhancing superpowers for fighting situations. The name originated from US fighter jets XP-88 and in a similar way, the unpredictability to fight could enhance flight. The circumstances of control are to induce irrational fear that could either lead to self-destruction through martyrdom or kamikaze action in the programming of assassination and its aftermath. It begins with the annihilation of personality and then the reprogramming of the mind, films such as Jacob's Ladder and The Manchurian Candidate give us an idea of the scope historically how deep the conspiracy and paranoia runs.

XP-88 original produced by Hijacker kicks off with a techno military-style assault on the mind. The kick and grainy funk bassline riff work us through a journey of spacious pads stabs and a pulsating acid line that gives a sense of controlled movement towards a target.

Hijackers' remix is more abstract and industrial working at the core on a minimal and deep level, driven by a gurgling baseline and filtered pad stabs and high-frequency sequences.
